Overview#
Kick notifications announce a Kick streamer going live. Iris checks every 5 minutes and posts once per stream, with the category, the viewer count and the stream preview added automatically.
It runs alongside the other platforms rather than instead of them, so a creator who streams on both Kick and Twitch can be watched on both without the two feeds interfering.
The design is written once for the platform and reused by every streamer you add, unless you turn the shared design off for one of them.
Setup#
- Open the dashboard and go to Notifications > Kick.
- Design the announcement under Announcement design and save it. This has to exist before a streamer can be added.
- Press Add notification.
- Enter the Streamer name, the username from their channel URL after
kick.com/. A full URL also works. - Pick the channel it Posts to.
- Under Advanced settings, set a Ping role if you want one.

The streamer was not found.
Use the username exactly as it appears after kick.com/, not their display name if the two differ.
How quickly does it post?
Within about 5 minutes of going live.
Nothing has posted at all.
Check the announcement design has been saved once, and that Iris can send and embed in the destination channel.
