Events

A shared streak members keep alive with approved stickers and emoji.

Overview#

Events runs a community streak. In the event channel, members post one of the approved stickers or the approved emoji, and the streak goes up. Post anything else and the streak breaks, and Iris names whoever broke it.

The current streak, the best streak ever reached, and a leaderboard of who has contributed most are all tracked, so the game keeps its own history.

Setup#

  1. Open the dashboard and go to Engagement > Events.

  2. Set the Event Category Channel the streak is played in.

  3. Set the Emoji ID of the approved emoji under Event Emoji.

  4. Add the approved sticker ids under Event Stickers, then save.

Settings#

Commands#

  • /cat-streak Show the current streak and who is holding it. Anyone
  • /cat-leaderboard Show who has contributed most to the streak. Anyone
  • /set-cat-streak <streak> Set the streak to a number by hand. Administrator
  • /reset-cat-streak Reset the streak to zero. Administrator

Permissions#

Tips and gotchas#

My sticker was deleted.

Only the approved sticker ids are allowed in the event channel. Everything else is removed.

The streak did not go up.

Check you used one of the approved stickers or the approved emoji, and posted it with nothing else in the message.

The commands do not appear in my server.

The module is limited to one server, and the commands are registered there only.
