Server Boosts
Thank boosters with custom messages and boost logs.
Overview#
Server Boosts thanks the people paying for your perks. When somebody boosts, Iris posts an announcement in the channel you chose, in your wording, with your colour and an image or GIF underneath.
A separate log keeps the history: who boosted, when, and when a boost ended. That is the part worth having, because Discord itself tells you the current count and nothing about how you got there.
Setup#
- Open the dashboard and go to Engagement > Server Boosts, then turn on Enable Boost Tracking.
- Pick the Announcement Channel.
- Write the Header and the Message.
{user.mention}pings the booster. - Set the Embed Color and an Image URL if you want a GIF under the message.
- Set the Log Channel under Booster Log, then save.
- Send a test announcement to see it in the channel.

Tips and gotchas#
Nothing was announced.
Check the module is on, a channel is picked, and Iris can send and embed there. Discord also only reports a boost when it is applied to the server, not when it is bought.
Can I thank someone who boosted before I set this up?
Not automatically. .boost help lists your current boosters so you can thank them by hand.
Does it announce every boost from the same person?
Yes. Two boosts from one member are two events, and both are announced and logged.
