Fun commands

Small things that keep a channel alive.

Overview#

The commands somebody runs when a channel has gone quiet: a meme, a coin flip, or a lookup for whatever game the server actually plays.

Nothing here needs setting up, and nothing here writes to your server. Add Iris and they work.

Commands#

  • /meme A random meme. Anyone
  • /pokemon <name> Look up a Pokemon and its details. Anyone
  • /coinflip [call] Flip an animated coin. Call heads or tails in the air and Iris keeps your called-it streak. One flip in a hundred lands on its edge. Anyone
  • /cf [call] Short for /coinflip. The same flip, fewer letters. Anyone
  • /roblox-codes <game_name> Current working codes for a Roblox game. Anyone
  • /league summoner <riot_id> [region] Look up a League of Legends account. The Riot ID is Name#TAG, and the region is a platform such as na1, euw1 or kr, defaulting to na1. Anyone
  • /league champion <name> Champion stats, abilities and difficulty. Anyone
  • /league build <champion> A suggested item build for a champion. Anyone
  • /league history <riot_id> [region] Recent matches for an account. Same Name#TAG and region as above. Anyone

Tips and gotchas#

A meme did not load.

Memes come from an outside service. Run it again; if it keeps failing the service is having a bad day.

Can I turn these off?

Yes, per server, in command management.

League or Roblox lookups came back empty.

Both read from the game publisher, not from Iris. For League, check you passed the full Riot ID as Name#TAG and the right region: the lookup defaults to na1, so an EU account needs euw1 or eun1 passing explicitly.
