Terms of Service

Last updated: July 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Iris ("the Bot") to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required to use Discord in your country (13 years, or higher where local law requires) to use the Bot or the web dashboard. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use of Discord complies with Discord's Terms of Service.

3. Description of Service

The Bot provides server management utilities for Discord, including but not limited to: moderation tools, ticket systems, welcome messages, logging, giveaways, verification, auto-moderation, and a web-based configuration dashboard.

4. Data Collection

The Bot collects and stores the following data to provide its services:

  • Discord User IDs - to identify users for moderation actions, giveaway entries, and verification.
  • Guild (Server) IDs - to associate configuration settings with your server.
  • Configuration Data - your server's module settings, channel assignments, role assignments, and preferences.
  • Message Metadata - message IDs and timestamps for logging and moderation features.
  • Message Content in specific cases - the content of deleted and edited messages (when a server enables logging), ticket transcripts (when a ticket is closed), and messages removed by the anti-link module.
  • Moderation Records - warnings, mutes, bans, and associated user IDs.

For full details on data handling, please review our Privacy Policy.

5. Usage Rules

You agree not to:

  • Use the Bot for any purpose that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Bot's functionality.
  • Use the Bot to harass, spam, or harm other users.
  • Circumvent rate limits, cooldowns, or access restrictions.
  • Automate interactions with the Bot using unauthorized scripts or tools.

6. Service Availability

The Bot is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice. Scheduled maintenance and updates may cause temporary service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Bot's developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Bot. This includes but is not limited to data loss, server disruptions, or unauthorized access resulting from misconfiguration.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Bot at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms. You may terminate your use at any time by removing the Bot from your server. Stored data is retained after removal until you request its deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

10. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

11. Contact

If you have questions about these terms or need to report an issue, contact us by email at yourbotdev.daniel@gmail.com or through the Bot's support server on Discord.
