Overview#
Auto roles hands out roles the moment somebody joins. There is no reaction to press and nothing for the member to do: they arrive already holding the roles you picked.
Pick as many roles as you like and all of them are applied together. This is what gives a new member a colour, a default ping group, or the base role your channel overrides are written against.

What it looks like#
Tips and gotchas#
New members get nothing.
Check the module is on, at least one role is picked, and Iris sits above those roles in the role list.
Do bots get the roles too?
No. Only human joins are handled.
Can I give different roles to different members?
Not here. Self roles lets members pick, and forms grants a role on approval.
